Our Programs
Visit our newly branded community centre and get involved!
Workshops
Our weekly workshops are hosted by volunteers, who share their skills and experience on a variety of topics. Crafts, sewing, cooking, gardening and quilting are all regular workshops that are offered to encourage participation, teach new skills and provide a social experience.
We have had local chefs, community gardeners, business owners and stay at home mums, all put their hands up to be involved. Costs are kept low by seeking donated materials, or asking people to bring their own supplies.
Prices vary from free to $20 or more depending on costs associated.
Creche is provided for most workshops to ensure we are available to everyone and to give parents some time for themselves, knowing their children are in a safe and familiar environment. There is a small fee associated with creche.
We love to hear suggestions, do our best to provide for your requests and really appreciate anyone putting their hand up to host.

Community
Make connections with like minded others, join us for a cup of tea, or volunteer to assist with our varied programs and events within the Bridgetown area. Community groups can also hire our facilities for meetings or functions.
We also host ‘Welcome’ Dinners that are designed to get people together to have a chat, share some food and make some connections.
Events
We aim to provide some evening activities to cater to a wide range of people. These activities include shared dinners, evening workshops or parties.
There have been Clothes Swapping parties, Christmas in July, Basket Weaving workshops and Portraits & Dinner workshops. We want to provide something fun, affordable and welcoming to everyone.
We know that some of our community members work and cannot make our day time workshops. Evening workshops and events open up our centre to all ages and all walks of life.
